About Me

I have always been intrigued and fascinated by the perplexity of human mind, as

a psychologist and a licensed Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, I take immense pride in facilitating people to embark on the journey of transformation. Apart of being warm and engaging, I believe empathy is the corner stone of my practice. 


My orientation is cognitive-based therefore, my therapy sessions are conversational, pragmatic and focus primarily on the present. During the assessment sessions I establish concise therapeutic goals and collaborate on methods to attain them. I aim to facilitate insight, growth and lasting change in each treatment session.

As an NLP practitioner, I couple the techniques of NLP by initiating a psychological change assisting people to develop a new skill set that will help them to achieve high performance in their respective areas of expertise. Psycho-dynamic Psychotherapy

Psycho dynamic therapy focuses on unconscious processes as they are manifested in the client's present behavior. The goals of psycho dynamic therapy are client self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior. Psycho dynamic therapy focuses on the psychological roots of emotional suffering. Its hallmarks are self-reflection and self-examination, and the use of the relationship between therapist and patient as a window into problematic relationship patterns in the patient’s life. 

  

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) 

Cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT, is a short-term therapy technique that can help people find new ways to behave by changing their thought patterns. Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on changing the automatic negative thoughts that can contribute to and worsen emotional difficulties, depression, and anxiety. These spontaneous negative thoughts have a detrimental influence on mood. Through CBT, these thoughts are identified, challenged, and replaced with more objective, realistic thoughts.


Inter-personal Psychotherapy (ITP)

Interpersonal psychotherapy is a brief, attachment-focused psychotherapy that centers on resolving interpersonal problems and symptomatic recovery. IPT is a method of treating depression. It is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on you and your relationships with other people. It's based on the idea that personal relationships are at the center of psychological problems.
